Artes Mechanicae is a museum exhibit exploring life, and more importantly warfare, in Medieval Europe through the lens of blacksmithing. The exhibit primarily displays arms and armor from the 12-17th centuries, using illuminated manuscripts from the same period as references for the typographic layouts. The open floor plan of the exhibit is designed to maximize the amount of visitors, whilst allowing them to remain socially distanced from one another.
