For our book design final, we were assigned an artist to thoroughly research represent in an artist catalogue. My chosen artist was Dorothea Lange, a documentary photographer and photojournalist. I was influenced by her striking black-and-white photography, and examined her use of direction and movement to dictate the placement of the type.
